The Governing Body is the elected executive committee that runs RECA Kolkata's day-to-day affairs and represents the association externally.
How the Governing Body Works
The Governing Body meets regularly to set policy direction, oversee sub-committees, and take decisions on behalf of the wider membership. Members are elected by the general body for a fixed term and are collectively responsible for the association's conduct and finances.
Individual portfolios — membership, grievances, and government liaison — are typically assigned to specific office bearers, who report back to the full committee.
